Stadium gate opening times vary based on the event. To ensure fans comfort, and in accordance with local fire safety laws, only fans with a ticket will be allowed inside the stadium.

Historic Crew Stadium patrons are encouraged to drink responsibly. Proper identification is necessary to purchase any alcoholic beverage. The purchase limit may be reduced, and sales may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of stadium management. Fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium if they are visibly intoxicated. Disorderly behavior will result in ejection from the stadium without a refund.

  • Guests in Historic Crew Stadium are expected to obey Ohio state and local laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol.
  • All guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol.
  • There will be a maximum limit of 2 alcoholic beverages sold to each guest, per purchase, per valid I.D.
  • Valid I.D. is required for purchase, acceptable forms of valid identification are driver’s license, passport, United States passport card, state issued I.D. card w/photo, military I.D. w/photo, and consular I.D. card.
  • Historic Crew Stadium reserves the right to eject anyone under the age of 21 who is observed to be in possession of, or consuming alcohol on the premises.
  • Guests must discard alcoholic beverages prior to exiting Historic Crew Stadium.
  • Alcohol service may be discontinued at the stadium or concessionaire’s discretion.

Only Service Animals are permitted inside Historic Crew Stadium. The guest is responsible for the actions and for meeting all needs of the service animal.


Any bag smaller than 5”x8”x1”, diaper bags and medical bags are permitted into Historic Crew Stadium – All bags are subject to inspection and may be refused. Guests with medical or childcare needs will be permitted to carry a single bag into Historic Crew Stadium. Notify a security supervisor as you arrive at the gate.  Guests must take prohibited bags back to their vehicle.

The following rules are in effect regarding the Banner/ Sign Policy at Historic Crew Stadium:

  • Flags on PVC poles with no end caps, no longer than 3.5 feet long and ½ inch thick will be permitted inside the stadium.
  • May not be used to facilitate actions that are in violation of the Prohibited Items Policy or the Fan Code of Conduct.  
  • Must be in good taste, not include any profanity, advertisements, or political slogans/ endorsements or be divisive or controversial in nature.  
  • May not interfere with stadium signage or the view and enjoyment of guests outside of the recognized supporter group section.  
  • May not present a public hazard by blocking aisles, walkways or stairs.  
  • May not be taped, glued, or secured to stadium structure using adhesive of any kind.  
  • May not in any way damage stadium structure such as railings, glass, paint, etc.  
  • May not be constructed of wood, metal or other materials that may cause harm to others.  
  • May not be used as a projectile.  
  • May be larger than 3’ x 5’, however all sizes and designs must be pre-approved by Stadium Management prior to match day.  
  • Management reserves the right to determine what signs are in violation of stadium policy.  
  • Failure to forfeit non-compliant materials to management will result in ejection from the stadium.    
  • Recognized Supporter Group privileges may be suspended or revoked at any time due to the violation of stadium policies. Stadium Management may impose a quantity limit on exempt items when appropriate. 

Electric or battery-powered apparel, signs, or loose batteries are not permitted.

Blankets without batteries are allowed. As you enter the stadium, you will be asked to shake the blanket out as you pass through security.


  • Selfie Sticks, Tripods, bipods, and monopods are not permissible.  
  • Any Cameras with a detachable lens and/or larger than 4 inches when fully extended, are prohibited. No camera bags of any kind are permitted.  
  • Videotaping is not permitted without the consent of Historic Crew Stadium.    
  • The images reproduced may not be used commercially. Video cameras may not be used to reproduce the game or Event. 

Costumes are allowed provided they do not include prohibited items or pose a safety risk to other guests or violate other Historic Crew Stadium policies.

Drones are strictly prohibited in and around Historic Crew Stadium.

There is one elevator in Historic Crew Stadium located in the SW corner on the Stadium. Historic Crew Stadium also has two ramps (located on the SW and SE corner of the stadium).

In the case of an emergency, notify a Historic Crew Stadium staff member and follow their instructions and the instructions from any subsequent PA announcements.

There are three (3) different guest entrances at Historic Crew Stadium: Gate 2 (adjacent to the B Lot) Gate 4 (East Side – next to the East Box Office) Gate 5 (West Side – next to the West Box Office). View our stadium map for a more information. 


Field access is prohibited without the correct ticket, wristband or credential. Field intrusion by anyone not permitted is subject to ejection and prosecution.

Historic Crew Stadium has one centralized first aid location in the SW corner – by section 120. Additional first aid teams are deployed throughout the facility based on the event.

No outside food or beverage is permitted inside Historic Crew Stadium.


Historic Crew Stadium is a 20,000-seat multi-purpose sports and entertainment stadium, owned and operated by Haslam Sports Group, in Columbus, OH. Perfect for soccer, football, lacrosse, concerts, festivals, seminars, commercials, conferences, trade shows, job fairs and corporate competitions, we have unique versatility which has been utilized by numerous event planners and promoters since opening in 1999. Baby changing stations are located in restrooms throughout Historic Crew Stadium. Diaper Bags are permitted inside the stadium for families with children. Diaper bags will be searched and tagged by security during entry. Strollers and car seats are permitted inside Historic Crew Stadium and are subject to security screening. These items may not block aisles, seats or stairwells. 


Any found items should be turned in to the nearest Experience Team member located throughout Historic Crew Stadium. Found items will be stored for 30 days and can be picked up in the Lower.com Field West Lobby (located at 96 Columbus Crew Way, Columbus OH 43215) 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Please email guestservices@columbuscrew.com for Lost & Found items.

Parking for Historic Crew Stadium is located on the State Fair Grounds surrounding Historic Crew Stadium. There is ample parking with the closest lots being the B Lot (adjacent to Gate 2), and the G and R Lots. There is ADA parking directly in front of Gates 4 and 5. Parking rates and gates opening times vary by event. For most events, parking will be available to pre-purchase. Parking may accept cash and credit card. Please check the event details prior to traveling to Historic Crew Stadium for more information.

Historic Crew Stadium is a cashless venue and accepts all major credit cards as payment. Attendees can visit any Cash-to-Card location throughout the stadium to convert cash to a prepaid card. Cash-to-Card machines are located on the SW and SE concourses between the restrooms by the ramps.

The following items are prohibited at Historic Crew Stadium. Additional items may be prohibited depending on the Event. Please check the event details prior to traveling to Historic Crew Stadium for more information.

  • Aerosol or pressurized containers
  • Any missile or projectile-like objects
  • Drones
  • Firearms and weapons of any kind (regardless of concealed carry permit)
  • Flares, smoke bombs, incendiary devices, and pyrotechnics
  • Hoverboards or skateboards
  • Illegal drugs or harmful chemicals
  • Inflated Soccer balls
  • Laptops or tablets
  • Laser pointers
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Professional camera equipment; detachable lenses, tripods, battery packs or video cameras. Tripods & monopods for camera equipment
  • Seat cushions with metal backs
  • Selfie sticks
  • Whistles or any other noisemaker outside of Vuvuzela horns
  • Any item deemed dangerous by Stadium Management


No re-entry is permitted at Historic Crew Stadium. Once you exit the secured area, you will not be able to re-enter.

No refunds or exchanges are permitted.

There are family/unisex restrooms on the main (100 level) concourse. All restroom facilities at Historic Crew Stadium are ADA accessible.


Scalping and Profiteering is prohibited around Historic Crew Stadium. Violation of this policy will result in prosecution.

Prior to entering the stadium, all guests will be subject to security screening including walk through metal detectors and inspection of bags or other items carried in. Ticketholders refusing security screening will be denied entry into the stadium.

In compliance with Chapter 3794 of the Ohio Revised Code, smoking is prohibited inside Historic Crew Stadium. E-cigarettes and chewing tobacco are also prohibited. For guests’ convenience, there is a smoking section located on the grass on the east side of the building.

Tailgating for certain events may be permitted in the Historic Crew Stadium Lots. Please check the event details for more information. Anytime tailgating is permitted, the following policies will be in effect:

  • Be mindful and only occupy one parking space(s) per vehicle.
  • RVs and oversized vehicles will be required to pay for the number of spaces in which they will occupy.
  • Trash must be disposed of properly.
  • The following are prohibited: solicitation of any kind, the sale of food and alcohol, glass containers, tents, personal port-a-johns, furniture (other than folding lawn chairs).

Trespassing is prohibited at Historic Crew Stadium. Violators will be subject to prosecution.

We do not offer any public or private tours of Historic Crew Stadium.


Upper 90 Lounge is a hospitality space inside Historic Crew Stadium. The space overlooks the field, has a large outdoor patio and is ideal for meetings, VIP parties and/or meet and greets. Room Capacity: 200 people. More information on the Upper 90 Lounge can be found here. Contact us if you are interested to host an event in this space.

Collapsible, non-golf umbrellas are permitted inside Historic Crew Stadium. Umbrellas may not have metal tips or pointed edges. Umbrellas may be used if, when open, it provides protection only to the guest holding it and does not interfere with other guests’ enjoyment of the match or event. Similarly, the open umbrella must not compromise other guests’ ability to view the match or event. As such, guests may be asked to close their umbrella if it is obstructing the view of other guests. Large and/or golf umbrellas will not be permitted in Historic Crew Stadium.


In the event of inclement weather, the event/match might be delayed. Listen to PA announcements, video board announcements, and/or Historic Crew Stadium staff for directions on sheltering or evacuation.

Will call is located on the South side of Historic Crew Stadium. Box office hours vary by event.

Historic Crew Stadium currently does not offer public WiFi throughout the stadium.
